Course Overview
A flat course can lead to fast times. However, momentum can be slowed when there are significant turns on a course. That being said, the Williamsburg course has generated solid results for the Pella Dutch squad as they take on some of the state’s best runners. This course is fantastic for the fans. There are several locations where you can see the runners pass several times. Come ready to cheer on the running Dutch!

Girls Team Race
The Pella Dutch will field a new varsity lineup at Williamsburg, giving a fresh group of girls the chance to compete in a strong field. This group of 7 will be competitive and race well against ranked teams from 3A, 2A, and 1A across the state. The title race is expected to be between Solon and Mount Vernon-Lisbon, who recently faced off at the Solon Invitational, where Solon won by 9 points. Pella’s varsity squad aims to challenge the #2 and #3 ranked 3A teams, leveraging their depth to make it a close race. Tipton has also been running well, placing third at the Solon Invitational and looking to improve on that performance.
Boys Team Race
Similarly, the Pella boys will showcase a different varsity lineup. They face strong competition, with 3A #4 Mount Vernon-Lisbon favored to win. ADM, Carlisle, and Bondurant-Farrar will also be in the mix for the top spot. Bondurant-Farrar is coming off an impressive win at the Roland-Story Invitational, while Carlisle remains a dangerous contender as the season progresses.
